Is it the dogs fault? Or our own?

Staffordshire Bull Terrier

As the news continues to follow the tragic story of schoolgirl Jade Lomas-Anderson who was apparently mauled by at least 4 dogs at a home near Wigan there are cries from the general public to ban such dangerous dogs, but are the dogs to blame or is it us?

The attack took place last Tuesday and it is reported that 2 Staffordshire Bull Terriers and 2 bull mastiffs were involved in the fight which left the teenager for dead.

But is it all too easy to say that these are dangerous animals?

Throughout the 70's 80's and 90's apparent dangerous dogs were identified including Dobermans, Alsatians and Pit Bulls, but some may argue that it's actually the owners fault that these animals have the temperaments that they do and not the dogs themselves.

Everyday I look out of my window and I can guarantee that at some point in the day I can spot a Chav wearing a tracksuit and pair of Nike trainers with a Staffie in tow, sometimes with a lead, offen without. Nowadays it seems to be a statement that you have to have a "Staffie" in order to be hard or cool I guess but you can see by the way they just don't bother with the animal even when just walking down the street that in some cases the owners really are the cause of many problems that arise with these breeds.

They are without a doubt very powerful animals, and you really do have to bring them up right with good discipline to harness the power that they could potentially release, so in my eyes I would say that it takes the right kind of person and the right attitude to keep one of these so called dangerous dogs.

It's a shame that this poor girl has died, it really is, and I am not saying that it's down to the owners of the dogs that this is the reason this have happened to her, but I'm looking more towards peoples reaction towards such an event and I do find it difficult to understand why many naturally assume it's the dogs fault.

Maybe it's just easier to blame them, afterall, it's not like they can answer back.

Oh dear, this boy really is going off the rails big time.

Not sure how old he is, 17ish? maybe.... I actually really don't care, but after his latest visit to the UK and all the cock ups he made there I guess any further news that crops up about the little brat might just catch my attention a little. (emphasise a "little")

The worrying thing is though is that if history is anything to go by then we have kind of seen this type of random behaviour before...
And all the others that started off like this really didn't finish up on the right side of "alright".

Now seriously I know there's alot of fans out there that adore this little boy and I would never wish anyone dead but I seriously look at this kid and wonder if it is a case of history repeating itself, sorry but he really does remind me of Michael Jackson....

Jackson had a very limited childhood and some of his behaviour as a child growing up really was questionable, which, isn't all that different from our little Canadian friend here.

After the showdown with the press and photographers in the UK recently it really does show just how unstable this lad is, where does it end?

Maybe he is another Lohan in the making.

Maybe I'm just getting older and wiser? Who knows!

How many people are going to be voting for UKIP then?

Popularity is key - UKIP on the rise
Politics never really bothered me too much, but then I think as you get older you seem to take more of an interest for some reason, for me this definitely seems to be the case!

Lately I've become more and more interested in the state of the immigration system within the UK and the current attempts within the Conservative / Lib Dems rule to deal with the recession by various different means, including stripping the benefit system to it's bare bones.

Now tackling the benefit fraudsters is not a bad thing and quite rightly so, but to penalise pensioners and people that genuinely need help including the elderly is just disgusting.

Especially when you read cases of multiple Polish nationals claiming benefits in the UK for their multiple children back in their own homeland.... wtf is that all about?

But then again there is a saviour... or so it would seem.

UKIP are gaining popularity bigtime, with their anti EU views and priority of looking after the people that matter..... THE BRITISH PEOPLE!!

Hardly surprising that the other 3 parties are now quaking in their boots and now reacting to what UKIP are demanding.

Yesterday Cameron made comments about how he is going to tackle the growing culture of immigrants coming to this country and claiming benefits for job seekers allowance and many other freebies, about time?

Sorry Labour, Cons and Lib Dems....

Your too late and your spin and U turns are just plain boring.

UKIP could turn out to be the same if they were given power but what have we got to lose?
Might aswell give them a chance!
I know who I'm voting for

What about you?
